Now all self-respecting modern commercial enterprises have an e-shop or even a website displaying their products in the form of an electronic catalog. There are very few businesses that have managed to sell without the help of skroutz.gr, bestprice.gr or another affiliate.

The reasons are many and varied. We sent a questionnaire to both customers who had/have an online store but for various reasons it did not have the desired results. We asked them the simple question: "Where do you think the inability of your e-shop / website to perform at its best, or even bring you a significant number of orders/sales?"

Some answers were expected, some surprised us and some troubled us.

Most answered: I didn't have the time or the resources to run it (human resources or budget) or I didn't advertise it as much as I should have. Some people answered: I tried it, I advertised it but I didn't see a response from people, with few to zero orders. Few replied: Not for me, I believe my item cannot sell online.

The e-shop is a living organism. It is the electronic image / showcase of the business on the internet and needs employment. In our experience, it takes more time than money to start paying off. Every owner of an e-shop should devote either immediately or some time and start operating his e-shop. The more time invested in the beginning, the more the e-shop will pay off in the long run.

If you have an e-shop and you don't know how to make it work and start selling, I would like to encourage you with the following tips to get it up and running and not leave it to chance. It's never too late! I present below some important tips that if you follow them reverently, I personally guarantee that you will be making a significant EXTRA income very soon!

Workflow
A. SCHEDULING
Dedicate daily and scheduled 1 hour of your time for 2 weeks to enrich your e-shop with content, new products, more texts on the products you already have, keyword optimization and updating the prices of the products that have changed.

B. SOCIALIZING
If you haven't already, create a Facebook page and an Instagram profile and start inviting your friends, acquaintances and customers to Like/Follow your profile page . In addition, make it a daily schedule to publish on Facebook on your page, 2 of your most popular products with a direct quotation of the Link from your e-shop. Do the same on Instagram. If you don't know how, leave it to the experts!

C. E-MAIL MARKETING
Collect the list of existing customers from your e-shop and send them a well-designed newsletter with 3 products - barks that you will take out in a special offer of the week. Do this regularly every week and make sure to remove from the list those who say they do not wish to receive e-mails from you. You can send organized campaigns in bulk using the services of Moosend or MailChimp

Follow as much as you can the internal optimization steps of your e-shop that we describe for you in this article: How to increase the Conversion Rate in your e-shop
