In our previous article about the European regulation GDPR we analyzed what this law is, which businesses it will affect, when it will be implemented and what you should do to protect your business.

If you have an e-shop or any < strong>website and you keep personal data such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, etc. either in the form of files or in forms or a database, you should contact GDPR-certified consulting companies or legal advisors as soon as possible. They will undertake to prepare your business and comply with the new regulation BEFORE the deadline set by the European Union on May 25, 2018.

GDPR and PrestaShop - changes required< /h4>If you have PrestaShop (any version) we have prepared for you a support package that includes all the necessary actions - modifications that should be made to your e-shop to ensure both the business and your customers.
  1. Purchase and install SSL certificate if your e-shop does not already have it.
  2. Module: Informative PopUp on the home page that will prompt the user to accept the storage of cookies and to read and accept the personal data management and protection policy maintained by the eShop.
  3. Posting by us in all languages (if you sell abroad), of the revised storage policy personal data that your legal advisor will have already prepared specifically for the GDPR.
  4. Module: Add to the customer/member profile, possibility to delete his account and his order history from the e-shop database. The module will inform the administrator by e-mail in case of deletion.
  5. Module: Adding a link with a check of acceptance of the personal data retention policy in the registration form and modification of his profile as well as in the order. The form should not be saved if the user does not check the option.
  6. Module: automatic deletion mechanism of members who did not have any order last X years.
  7. Disabling and hiding from the profile registration and modification form, sensitive personal data fields such as: gender, date of birth. Delete this data from existing customers.
  8. Delete ALL contacts from your database entered WITHOUT their consent (bulk import of contacts with import from other databases)
  9. Will add a short text that will inform the customer about his rights under GDPR
  10. In case your e-shop is connected to an ERP or accounting program, you should definitely consult the GDPR consultant and inform you about in your case what other changes are required both in your e-shop and in your ERP
The cost of the above changes including the purchase of the corresponding PrestaShop Modules is: 250 euros + VAT strong> if you already have SSL in your e-shop or 330 euros + VAT together with the purchase and installation of SSL. Contact us in time to express interest.
